I was born in Monterrey, Mexico, in 1975, a city known for its rich industrial history and breathtaking mountain landscapes. Growing up in Monterrey provided me with a unique blend of the natural and the urban, both of which deeply influence my work as an artist today. From an early age, my family would escape the bustle of the city to spend time at a remote ranch, completely immersed in nature. With no signs of modern life around, it was in those quiet, serene environments that I first fell in love with the beauty of the natural world. The vast landscapes, the delicate flora, and the subtle details of nature became a constant source of inspiration for me, a connection that still drives much of my creative process.

Nature provides me with a sense of peace and wonder, and my paintings are often reflections of the small yet powerful details I observe—a single leaf, the curve of a flower petal, or the way light filters through the branches of a tree. I strive to capture these details in a way that allows others to experience the same sense of awe that I feel. For me, painting these natural elements is more than just an artistic expression; it's a way of preserving the fleeting moments of beauty that surround us every day.

However, my artistic identity is equally shaped by the city of Monterrey, where I continue to live and work. Monterrey's fast pace, urban energy, and industrial roots provide a contrasting backdrop to my love of nature. This duality finds its way into my work as I explore the beauty in everyday objects that most people might overlook. I believe that even the most ordinary items—whether a household object or a familiar street scene—can evoke powerful emotions when viewed through the right lens. My goal as an artist is to capture those moments of joy and satisfaction, transforming the mundane into something meaningful.

My journey as an artist began early. I vividly remember the joy of coloring in books with crayons as a child, getting lost in the process of creating something from nothing. Over time, this joy blossomed into a more serious passion. Although I dreamed of studying fine arts, I was steered toward Graphic Design, which allowed me to stay close to my creative side. Despite this shift, I never let go of my desire to paint. I consistently sought ways to improve my craft, learning from various art teachers and pursuing self-education through online courses. My journey has been one of constant growth, always seeking to refine my technique and deepen my understanding of realism, which has become my signature style.

For me, the pursuit of perfection in realism isn't just about technical skill; it's about honoring the beauty I see in the world and sharing it with others. I want my work to invite people to slow down, to stop and observe the intricacies of life that often go unnoticed in our fast-paced world.

While art has always been central to my identity, my greatest dream has always been to build a family. Raising my four children was a profound and fulfilling chapter in my life. During those years, I stepped away from painting full-time to focus on them, cherishing every moment of their growth and the life we built together. I wouldn’t trade that time for anything—it was a gift that shaped me both as a mother and as an artist.

Now that my children have grown more independent, I’ve been able to return to my art with a renewed sense of purpose and passion. This new chapter has brought immense creativity and productivity. I'm filled with excitement for what lies ahead, confident that I am where I am meant to be—creating art that resonates, moves, and invites others to find beauty in both the extraordinary and the everyday.

The journey has not always been linear, but every step has brought me closer to fulfilling my purpose as an artist. With the support of my loving husband and family, I feel more inspired than ever to continue exploring new ideas and pushing the boundaries of my creativity. I’m eager to see where this path leads, and I am grateful for every moment that has brought me to this point. Through my art, I hope to share not just the beauty I see, but the sense of peace, gratitude, and wonder that fuels my work.
